INDIA is democratic country.

Everyone in this country has a right to speak / express what they feel. but is this working good for children?

India a country of 1.252 billion people.

when it comes to education there is a trend setup among  parents.

  • 10th > 12th > engineering > job
  • 10th>poly> engineering> job
  • 10th>12th>commerce>CA/CS
  • 10th>12th>BSc>MSc > teaching

Till 2006 the last bullet was so common in girls that teaching schemes were implemented.

Now we see students are so busy in there schedule that even though they are willing to join there favourite sport they simply cannot. Truth of the matter is even their parents don’t want them to waste their time in playing.

Even the teachers who ones taught us the proverb ” ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY”  are now saying this ” KHEL KUD BAAD ME…PEHELE PADHO.. KUCH BANO..”

Why this contradiction is present.? who should we trust? ME being 20 yrs of age,

its still difficult for me to answer these questions so how it can be easy for these children.

Middle class family earns mainly to educate their ward. but if he/she is interested in sports or we can say good in sports than studies, there passion is suppressed and they are forced to study ONLY.

Basically its not the parent’s fault because they have faced the consequences of not studying and landing up in middle class family.

When INDIA’S maximum population i.e the middle class people wont allow their children to perceive their talent how can we expect Olympic success..

we all are aware of the latest Olympic games statistics. and somewhere we all got disappointed with the failure of Indian players.

India took 2 medals

1 silver badminton : P. V. Sindhu

2 bronze wrestling : Sakshi Malik

I WAS AMAZED TO SEE THIS INTERNATIONAL STATISTICS

Leading in that Sport

Sport Gold Silver Bronze Total Rank
Field hockey 8 1 2 11 1
Shooting 1 2 1 4 34
Athletics 0 2 0 2 71
Wrestling 0 1 4 5 43
Badminton 0 1 1 2 9
Boxing 0 0 2 2 64
Tennis 0 0 1 1 30
Weightlifting 0 0 1 1 56
Total 9 7 12 28

28 MEDALS SINCE 1ST OLYMPICS

this is the condition of INDIA and we blame the players.

NO PALS we should blame the mentality.

INSTEAD OF CHOOSING BETWEEN SPORTS AND STUDIES

TEACH THEM TO STUDY AND PLAY.

  • LET THEM PLAY THEIR SPORT FOR AT-LEAST 1 HR A DAY.
  • LET THEM KNOW THE BALANCE OF STUDY AND PLAY. NOT JUST STUDY.

BY THE JOURNEY OF BALANCING STUDY AND PLAY.

  • PARENTS WILL COME TO KNOW THE REAL POTENTIAL AND FIELD OF EXCELLENCE OF THEIR WARD.
  • HIS PASSION,HOBBY WILL NOT BE CRUSHED AND RESULTANT DEPRESSION WILL BE AVERTED.
  • WARD WILL BE HAPPY , ENTHUSIASTIC , AND HE WILL DEVELOP SOME EXTRA SOFT SKILLS IN NO TIME, WHICH ARE GENERALLY CLAIMED BY SOME 800PAGES BOOK WITH EXTRA FACULTY AND LOAD.

ITS NOT THAT EVERY CHILD IS DESTINED TO WIN A MEDAL

BUT ONE’S IMMENSE PASSION,UNUSUAL THIRST, HARD WORK CAN CHANGE DESTINY
